What Youll Do:
- Take full ownership of accounting reporting and operational finance.
- Implement and monitor internal controls that actually work.
- Lead month-end closings reconciliations and management reporting.
- Oversee inventory accounting valuations and variance analysis.
- Prepare audit files and ensure full IFRS and tax compliance.
- Drive process improvement standardization and efficiency.
- Use SAP BI (or similar ERP) to turn numbers into insight and action.
What Youll Bring:
- CA(SA) registered with SAICA
- 35 years post-articles experience in operational finance/accounting
- Proven exposure to internal controls process documentation and audit prep
- Solid IFRS knowledge and ERP experience (SAP preferred)
- Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- High integrity accountability and attention to detail
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- A genuine willingness to live and thrive in the middle of nowhere
