What You Can Expect

In this on-site role based inPavia you will join a dynamic and growing team focused on developing software to configure and control high-frequency SerDes systems optical modules DSP-based communication systems and other key semiconductor components designed by the company.

As aproduct expert your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the firmware team in the integration of power-up sequences and calibration routines.
• Assisting the validation team during the debug and bring-up phases.
• Contributing to the definition and implementation of quality assurance (QA) tests.
• Collaborating closely with chip designers firmware developers and validation engineers to ensure seamless system integration and performance.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware and software contributing to cutting-edge communication technologies.

What Were Looking For

To be successful in this role candidates should meet the following qualifications and demonstrate the following skills:

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Physics or a related technical field.
• 13 years of relevant industry experience is a strong plus particularly in roles involving embedded systems signal processing or hardware/software integration.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language. Strong Python skills are highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals including circuit design and signal processing principles.
• Familiarity with DSP-based SerDes communication principles is a plus. Willingness and ability to learn these concepts quickly if not already experienced.
• Experience with software versioning and development tools such as GitHub Jenkins Jira Artifactory or similar platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and improvement.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Willingness to support and learn from colleagues.
