As a Gaming Business Development Manager working with Amazon Web Services you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of cloud technology in the gaming and iGaming industry. Your responsibilities will include driving AWS cloud adoption and increasing market penetration across medium and large enterprise gaming accounts including game developers gaming platforms and gaming operators.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business development and technical background that enables him or her to engage at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT infrastructure and software designers and architects. You must also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan business objectives. We also expect you to have experience in the Gaming & iGaming industry (e.g. game development gaming platforms or gaming operators).
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Business Development
- Identify key aspects of potential new opportunities within the gaming and iGaming sector progress opportunities to launch and influence customer cloud adoption strategies
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key gaming industry accounts including game studios platform providers and gaming operators
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan including outbound calling against established target lists within the gaming vertical
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services specifically tailored to gaming workloads develop gaming-focused AWS use case studies
Technical & Business Engagement
- Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing infrastructure solutions (Server Storage Networking DC Services) Internet architectures (firewalls load balancers etc.) and Management Tools as they apply to gaming infrastructure
- Engage at the CXO level as well as with software developers IT infrastructure teams and technical architects within gaming organizations
- Collaborate with AWS partners and Solutions Architects to develop business development strategies extend reach develop relationships and drive joint success in the gaming sector
Performance & Execution
- Forecast territory performance per month against quota optimize customer costs and maintain a robust sales pipeline and related territory target lists in
- Exceed set business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction
- Drive measurable business outcomes and revenue growth within the gaming vertical

- Bachelors degree or MBA in management business administration economics engineering marketing
- 5 years of technology related sales business development or equivalent experience
- Fluent in both English and Chinese
- Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and design considerations
- Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround or experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for cloud solutions and IT services specifically within the gaming industry including successful business development initiatives and client relationship management with game developers publishers and gaming platforms
