MRI Technologist FriSun 11:00 AM11:30 PM Holidays On-Call/Callback as Needed
Step into a dynamic imaging role where your expertise truly makes a difference! Were seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our high-performing medical imaging this position youll work with advanced GE MRI scanners in a fast-paced environment serving diverse patient populations in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Schedule & Details:
Shift: FridaySunday 11:00 AM11:30 PM
Availability: Holidays on-call and callback per unit needs
Location: Insert Facility or City NY
Role Overview:
As an MRI Technologist youll perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring each patient receives compassionate professional care. Youll collaborate closely with physicians and medical staff to deliver accurate results promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate GE MRI scanners efficiently and safely
- Prepare and position patients for scans ensuring comfort and confidence
- Insert IVs when necessary for contrast studies
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic images and timely results
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality
- Keep a clean safe and organized imaging environment
- Support patient care tasks and team operations as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (required)
- BLS Certification (AHA only) (required)
- GE Scanner experience (required)
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience (preferred)
- ARRT or equivalent certification (highly desired; must be willing to obtain if not current)
- Valid NY License (required)
