The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our 777 Supply Chain Interiors SCMA team in Everett WA.
Exciting opportunity to join a high performing supply chain team working inside the factory alongside the product this role will directly support. Whether you are currently working in supply chain or looking to make a change - this role will bring candidates into the complex and challenging world of demand management program integration and supply chain analysis.
The 777 Program Supply Chain Team is recruiting a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our organization. This role will work with both external suppliers internal customers and business partners. Responsibilities will include demand management inventory management and value stream integration.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst.
Position Responsibilities:
Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.
Analyzes complex material requirements.
Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.
Determines part number attributes.
Initiates coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability.
Ensures on-time delivery.
Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
Reports schedule adherence issues.
Develops and controls inventory plans.
Optimizes inventory levels.
Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories.
Initiates audits.
Develops and creates schedules for products and services.
Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals.
Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.
Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1 years of experience with Supplier Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
- 1years of experience with supply chain management or materials management analysis
- 1years of experience with supply chain forecasting
- 1years of experience interpreting Bill of Materials
- 1years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
- Domestic and international travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree
- 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
