Job Description 75% Welcome and orient visitors to the museum and its various resources during public hours; champion a Visitor Experience strategy that prioritizes an inclusive accessible open environment to foster learning discovery and civic engagement; perform opening and closing procedures for the Visitor Experience Center; participate in visitor studies; maintain the Welcome Desk and associated materials; maintain cleanliness and organization in the lobby flex space Little Free Museum and other public spaces; and work collaboratively withother staff and Visitor Experience volunteers.
20% Program and event-related responsibilities may include contributing to program ideation and development setting up and striking equipment; greeting/directing attendees; monitoring event activities and visitor needs; tracking attendance and other statistics.
5% Conduct retail financial transactions for on-site sales of Museum Shop merchandise and Museum memberships.
