ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The student will apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations.
- The student will be responsible for accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility throughout his/her co-op experience.
- Will identify and fix computer and network problems.
- Will attend and participate in weekly departmental meeting.
- Will take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.
- Participate on project teams for some assigned projects.
- Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate with peers project team members and other departments on new product development product line extensions and product enhancements.
- Will work on computers printers and the network; troubleshooting hardware issues and configuring computers.
- Will work on troubleshooting Windows 10 and Office; also printing repair and troubleshooting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of computer hardware
- Basic knowledge of computer networking
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Good writing skills and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of SQL stored procedures VB 6.0 C# or is a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Active directory experience and PowerShell experience.
- Knowledge of project management and business analysis.
- Strong analytical skills; possess the ability to work through technical issues.
- Action Oriented; drive for results
