Landscape Architect

Location: Billericay

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

About the Role

Are you a passionate and creative Landscape Architect looking to make a real impact on people and the planet Join our dynamic Design Team at Ground Control and help shape sustainable inspiring landscapes across the UK.

As part of our multidisciplinary professional services team youll work on exciting high-profile projects from innovative SUDs schemes to prestigious Design & Build developments. Youll be involved in every stage of the design process from concept to construction seeing your ideas come to life.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career work on live projects and receive mentoring towards becoming a Chartered Landscape Architect.

What youll do:

  • Produce high-quality design outputs including drawings specifications visualisations and reports across all RIBA work stages.
  • Deliver creative sustainable design solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with clients consultants and internal teams to bring projects to life.
  • Take ownership of your projects overcoming design challenges with initiative and innovation.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a professional standard on time and within budget.

What were looking for:

Were seeking someone with passion creativity and a collaborative spirit. Ideally youll bring but not limited to:

  • A degree and/or masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Design (or equivalent).
  • Strong design and graphic communication skills with proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (training available).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and a proactive approach.
  • Good plant knowledge (trees shrubs hardy perennials) and a willingness to expand your expertise.
  • Great time management skills and flexibility to work across multiple projects.
