Job Summary
A well-respected 1118 secondary school in Chesterfield is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the maintenance security and health & safety of its large and well-equipped campus from January 2026.
The Role
Youll manage all aspects of site operations including premises maintenance compliance checks contractor management and supervision of the caretaking team. The role involves both hands-on and managerial elements ensuring the school site is safe secure and welcoming at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day maintenance repairs and building projects.
- Managing site staff and external contractors.
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Overseeing cleaning waste management and security procedures.
- Monitoring budgets and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
About You
- Previous experience in premises or facilities management (education preferred).
- Strong knowledge of health safety and compliance standards.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Hands-on approach with ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
