Our Client is looking for a Science Technician to work within a thriving mixed secondary school in Huddersfield. The successful Science Technician will support the delivery of practical science lessons assist in preparing experiments and help maintain a safe and efficient working environment across the department.

This large 1118 comprehensive school serves approximately 1250 students and continues to deliver impressive academic outcomes with 93% achieving grades 94 in English and Maths. The Science department is one of the schools strongest faculties achieving consistently high GCSE results and maintaining an active presence in STEM competitions and enrichment programmes.
Facilities include six fully equipped laboratories modern preparation rooms and access to digital science resources. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teachers with practical demonstrations equipment maintenance and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards (CLEAPSS COSHH).

Experience and Qualifications
Prior experience as a laboratory or science technician desirable
