Head of Customer Acquisition
Our client an ambitious new iGaming startup backed by seasoned industry experts is seeking a Head of Customer Acquisition to lead the charge in building and scaling its growth engine from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and shape the entire acquisition strategy for a brand thats set to make waves through innovation transparency and an exceptional player experience. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer youll define and execute data-driven acquisition strategies that drive measurable impact from initial market entry through to sustained growth.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor excited by the challenge of building something new. You bring proven expertise in digital acquisition within competitive and regulated markets and youre ready to use that experience to create smart scalable and compliant growth strategies for a new agile brand.
Location: Helsinki hybrid
Responsibilities:
As Head of Customer Acquisition your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Build and lead the customer acquisition strategy from the ground up setting the vision roadmap and performance framework for all digital growth initiatives.
- Design and execute high-performing campaigns across performance marketing SEO/SEM paid media and strategic partnerships to drive visibility and player acquisition.
- Own and optimise the full acquisition funnel using analytics experimentation and data-driven insights to improve conversion and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams Product CRM Content Brand and Data to ensure seamless engaging and high-converting customer journeys across every touchpoint.
- Ensure all marketing activity is fully compliant with regulations and responsible marketing standards.
- Monitor and report on acquisition performance translating insights into actionable growth opportunities.
- Identify and test emerging channels and innovative strategies to give the brand a competitive edge.
- Build and mentor a high-performing acquisition team as the company scales fostering a culture of accountability learning and innovation.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in digital marketing customer acquisition or growth marketing ideally within the iGaming gaming or other highly competitive online industries.
- Deep understanding of digital channels acquisition funnels and conversion command of performance marketing SEO/SEM and paid media.
- Proven ability to use analytics testing and data insights to optimise performance and drive measurable business growth.
- A strategic yet hands-on approach comfortable setting the vision but also executing in a lean fast-moving environment.
- Fluent in Finnish and English (written and spoken).
- Masters degree in Marketing Communications Business Administration Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
