CNA- Skilled Nursing (PRN)
- Location: Pittsfield MA 01201
- Payrate: $12 - $16/hr (Depending on experience)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Employment Type: PRN
- Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Job Summary:
The CNA will provide direct patient care and support to residents. This position ensures residents safety comfort and well-being while assisting with daily activities and maintaining a clean and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding.
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nurse.
- Assist residents with safe mobility and transfers using proper techniques/equipment.
- Maintain clean and organized resident rooms and care areas.
- Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining resident dignity.
- Document care provided according to facility policies.
- Communicate effectively with nurses residents and family members.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current CNA certification in the state of Massachusetts.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
