_{We are seeking a skilled General Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a busy radiology department within an acute care hospital. This role involves performing a range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care. Floating between similar units may be required and block scheduling may be available upon approval.}

_{Key Responsibilities:}

_{Perform general ultrasound exams including abdominal OB/GYN small parts and vascular studies with accuracy and efficiency.}
_{Operate ultrasound equipment and analyze diagnostic images communicating preliminary findings to interpreting physicians.}
_{Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.}
_{Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.}
_{Ensure adherence to departmental protocols infection control practices and regulatory compliance.}

_{Work Details:}

_{Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours/week}
_{Call-Off Policy: Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per pay period}
_{Float: Must be open to floating between like units}
_{Scrub Color: Black scrubs required}
_{Block Scheduling: May be approved at the managers discretion}
_{RTO: Must be submitted at the time of profile submission}

_{Qualifications:}

_Education:

_{Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent}

_Experience:

_{Acute care hospital experience preferred}
_{Specific experience requirements to be confirmed by the hiring manager}

_{Licensure & Certifications:}

_{ARDMS (or equivalent) Required}
_{BLS Certification Required}
_{California State License Active license required at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)}
