Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care case management and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age frailty and serious illness. Responsibilities include patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The position may require floating between units and working weekends.
Location:Lubbock Texas United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients.
- Conduct patient assessments.
- Administer medications.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Document patient care and related duties.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills
- Minimum two years of hospital home health or hospice care experience
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field
- Drivers license car insurance and automobile for field work
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Specialities in Medical/Surgical ICU ER Psychiatric Labor & Delivery PACU Operating Room
Special Considerations:
- May float between units.
- Solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire required.
Scheduling:
- 5-6 shifts per 6 weeks schedule.
- Weekends are required.
