Summary:
-
Set up and calibrate CNC machines load and align workpieces select tools and adjust machine settings.
-
Read and interpret technical blueprints and CAD/CAM files to program CNC machines for various operations.
-
Operate CNC machinery for drilling milling turning grinding and other precision tasks.
-
Inspect finished products using measuring tools and gauges to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
-
Perform routine cleaning lubrication and part replacement to ensure machine performance.
-
Identify and resolve machine performance or product quality issues making adjustments or replacing defective parts.
-
Maintain accurate records of production runs machine settings and operational issues.
-
Follow all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining preferred; engineering degree a plus.

Minimum 3 years CNC Machinist experience with expertise in 5-axis machining centers.

Proven experience operating various CNC machines (lathes mills etc.) in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and CAD/CAM files.
-
Strong understanding of machine tools measurement instruments and machining techniques.
-
Skilled in troubleshooting quality control and performing routine maintenance.
-
Basic math skills and ability to perform precise measurements.
-
Physical ability to lift and handle heavy materials and tools.
-
Commitment to safety compliance with company policies and industry/regulatory standards.
-
Willingness to work C2H with potential for full-time hire; local preferred relocation available ($2500 after 90 days).

Experience with skills testing prior to hire.
-
U.S. Citizenship required (per ITAR).
