Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities and promote independence
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals
- Monitor client behavior and report any changes to the care team
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning
- Help create a safe and therapeutic environment for clients
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities and programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in psychology or behavioral health preferred
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in a behavioral health setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a desire to help others
- Basic understanding of behavioral health principles and practices
