Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Role Name: Customer Quote Specialist

Schedule: 40 hours per week 5 PM to 2 AM PST Monday through Friday; with one hour of unpaid break

Youll be the critical link between potential customers and booked appointments working during evening hours when traditional automotive services are unavailable. This role puts you at the center of the customer acquisition process where your quick response times directly impact the companys ability to convert leads into revenue. Youll master the companys quoting system and become an expert at researching competitive pricing making you an essential part of a specialized service business thats making car repairs more convenient for customers.

Responsibilities:

Field incoming customer inquiries from email and Yelp during after-hours coverage periods
Create accurate brake repair estimates using the companys specialized software system
Research competitive pricing for various brake services using AI tools and online resources
Send timely quotes to customers to maximize booking conversion rates
Respond to customer questions via email and text communication channels
Problem-solve independently when handling diverse customer scenarios and requests
Manage lead flow during evening and weekend hours when business owner is unavailable
Potentially handle phone conversations with customers when direct communication is needed

Requirements

Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently during evening hours
Excellent written communication skills for professional email and text interactions
Comfortable learning and mastering software systems for quote generation
Ability to research and gather information effectively using AI tools and search engines
Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace for consistent evening coverage
Attention to detail for accurate estimate preparation and customer communication
