Job Summary
As the Information System Security Officer you will:
- Serve as the primary security point of contact and ensure assigned systems maintain compliance with applicable cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST RMF FedRAMP DoD 8500).
- Develop maintain and update security documentation including SSPs POA&Ms SARs and continuous monitoring artifacts.
- Conduct risk assessments vulnerability scans and track remediation to maintain a secure system posture.
- Support system authorization and accreditation activities including ATO package preparation and ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement and monitor security controls respond to incidents and promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization.
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification (e.g. Security CCNA-Security CND CySA GICSP GSEC SSCP)
- 3-7 years of relevant experience
