Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to research and develop personalized text image and multimodal retrieval and ranking models while driving improvements and scalable evaluations that impact millions of Apple users and advance the broader AIML community.
- 4 years of experience in Machine Learning NLP/CV and applying these techniques at scale
- Proficiency in software engineering with mainstream programming languages such as Python Go or C/C
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor in Computer Science with relevant industry experience
- * Deep expertise in applying and evaluating deep learning models and large language models (LLMs)
- Extensive experience building production-quality systems in search recommendation or personal assistant domains
- Hands-on proficiency with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch JAX TensorFlow or XGBoost
- Proven ability to rapidly prototype solutions and perform critical analysis
- Strong background in personalization and data-driven decision making
- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Computer Science Statistics or a related field or equivalent industry experience
