Your Tasks
Beiersdorf Manufacturing Leipzig (BML) is seeking a Production Center Director to lead our site toward continued growth operational excellence and long-term sustainability.
In this strategic role you will oversee the achievement of the sites financial and operational objectives ensure compliance with Health & Safety Environmental and Quality standards and drive the development of manufacturing capabilities. You will provide clear leadership set performance standards (e.g. BMOS and ManEx) and champion continuous improvement across the organization all while fostering a culture based on our core values: Care Simplicity Courage and Trust.
Responsibilities:
Foster a culture that reflects BMLs mission vision and values in accordance with the Beiersdorf way.
Ensure the delivery of the sites financial and production results.
Develop and execute strategies and action plans aligned with Supply Chain and Company goals.
Lead the site development plan and implement the innovation pipeline in the factory.
Foster a culture of engagement with a strong focus on developing future leaders.
Provide strategic direction and support to the sites Leadership Team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support sustainable growth.
Embed a culture of continuous improvement by introducing best practices and driving innovation.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff representatives.
Ensure a safe and secure work environment aligned with the Zero Accidents Culture.
Promote synergies and cross-functional cooperation throughout the Region.
Your Profile
Technical Skills:
Bachelors degree in engineering (industrial mechanical or electrical preferred).
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing ideally in the consumer goods sector.
Strong knowledge of TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Fluent in English and German.
Ability to operate in a globally mobile role and collaborate across regions.
Soft Skills:
Situational leadership with adaptability to diverse teams and dynamic environments.
High emotional intelligence and resilience under pressure.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
Innovation mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
