Partnering with clients from diverse sectors you will undertake practical work with complex and diverse datasets focusing on building maintaining and enhancing scalable data pipelines and ensuring efficient data architecture.

What youll do:

  • Assist in designing building and managing scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
  • Support data integration efforts connecting disparate data sources seamlessly using batch and real-time streaming processes.
  • Develop data models and schemas to enhance data warehousing solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Utilise programming skills to automate data workflows ensuring efficient processing and transformation.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity through implementation of validation and error handling mechanisms in data pipelines.

  • Experience: 2 years of experience delivering data pipelines in a business environment.
  • Analytical Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen analytical mindset.
  • Communication Skills:Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player:Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Technical skills:
    • Strong programming skills in Python.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP Databricks or Snowflake).
    • Experience with data engineering and pipelines (SQL ETL/ELT distributed systems) metadata driven data engineering and orchestration services.
    • Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop Spark and Kafka.
    • Ability to work with metadata driven data engineering pipelines and tools such as jinja and DBT.
