Job Overview:
Wealth Management Operations (WMO) within the Investment Information Management Organization is seeking a Dividend Specialist. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of mutual fund dividend distributions and reinvestments for assigned fund companies. The specialist will manage distribution calendars for domestic and international funds monitor communications from fund agents create transactions in the dividend system for downstream processing and prepare trade logs for manual dividend reinvestments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process mutual fund dividend distributions and reinvestments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain distribution calendars for assigned funds.
- Monitor and respond to emails from fund agents.
- Create transactions in the dividend system and prepare trade logs for manual reinvestments.
- Analyze quality control reports research ledger variances and maintain control metrics.
- Work 40 hours per week with significant overtime required during year-end periods.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance punctuality and professional conduct.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and perform tasks independently as needed.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 02 years of experience in finance accounting or related fields preferred.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of mutual fund industry concepts practices and procedures is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Use of computers and technology.
