Position Summary:

House Managers work closely with the Head House Manager Stage Management and Box Office Management. During performances the House Managers are responsible for front of house operation in the Tuacahn Amphitheater. Welcome patrons to the theater and oversee their safety and satisfaction throughout the entire production. As a
House Manager you will listen to patron feedback provide resolutions when needed and answer any questions. The House Manager also helps the Head House Manager supervise train schedule and respond to feedback for over 200 volunteers. Additionally a House Manager will ensure that each volunteer fulfills their responsibilities accurately and efficiently.

Essential Duties
Arrive early and walk through the property to set up for successful performances
Communicate effectively with other departments as needed
Ensure the plaza and amphitheater adhere to the safety guidelines
Be familiar with the amphitheater seating chart and volunteer positions
Help patrons locate their seats
Resolve seating or ticket concerns
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Basic knowledge of Google Docs and Google Sheets
Strong and clear communication skills
Previous supervisory or leadership experience
Passion for quality guest service
Promote teamwork
Energetic and positive attitude
Capable of working efficiently and managing time without supervision
Able to motivate others
Ability to maintain relationships with a diverse range of personalities
Provide alternative solutions to problems
Exercise excellent on-the-spot decision-making
Keep sensitive information confidential
Multi-task while maintaining safety standards and procedure
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time including going up and down stairs
Able to work outside during various weather conditions
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds
Other duties as assigned
