Senior Information Systems Security Engineer 15k Sign on Bonus!

Job Summary:

As a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer youll help shape secure systems and architectures that protect sensitive data across multiple environments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Duties may include Systems Engineering fundamentals such as requirement developmentbaseline architecturedesign condition simulations and analysis supporting process development and improvement initiatives
• Participate as the primary security engineering representative on teams designing developing implementing and integrating secure networking computing and enclave systems.
• Conduct technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities ensure compliance with IA regulations and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Apply knowledge of IA policies and RMF processes to support security planning risk analysis and authorization activities.
• Support the enforcement of trusted relationships across external systems and architectures ensuring consistent application of agency security policies.
• Develop and validate system security requirements contributing to secure system design and implementation across multiple enclaves and classification levels.
• Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation for completeness and compliance providing expert feedback to stakeholders.
• Recommend system-level security solutions and contribute to the development of enterprise-wide security architectures.

Basic Qualifications

• 14 years of Information Security experience with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Assurance or related field OR 18 years of directly related information security experience without a degree
• Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning coordination and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
• Abilityto work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
• Familiarity with Cloud and Edge Computing NetworksData Management Systems Engineering and C4ISR systems integration
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level I or IAT Level II (i.e. CAP or Security CE)
• Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS environments and cloud security integration
