Job Summary:
Are you ready to take on a mission-critical role supporting complex programs for the Warfighter This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to national security efforts with lasting impact. As a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer youll help shape secure systems and architectures that protect sensitive data across multiple environments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Duties may include Systems Engineering fundamentals such as requirement developmentbaseline architecturedesign condition simulations and analysis supporting process development and improvement initiatives
- Participate as the primary security engineering representative on teams designing developing implementing and integrating secure networking computing and enclave systems.
- Conduct technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities ensure compliance with IA regulations and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Apply knowledge of IA policies and RMF processes to support security planning risk analysis and authorization activities.
- Support the enforcement of trusted relationships across external systems and architectures ensuring consistent application of agency security policies.
- Develop and validate system security requirements contributing to secure system design and implementation across multiple enclaves and classification levels.
- Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation for completeness and compliance providing expert feedback to stakeholders.
- Recommend system-level security solutions and contribute to the development of enterprise-wide security architectures.
Basic Qualifications
- 14 years of Information Security experience with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Assurance or related field OR 18 years of directly related information security experience without a degree
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning coordination and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
- Abilityto work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
- Familiarity with Cloud and Edge Computing NetworksData Management Systems Engineering and C4ISR systems integration
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level I or IAT Level II (i.e. CAP or Security CE)
- Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS environments and cloud security integration
