Summary:
MS Technology Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support engineering and facility operations for advanced nuclear and industrial systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in system design analysis and maintenance with a strong understanding of hydraulic piping and pressure systems as well as facility and utility operations. This position will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop reliable compliant and efficient mechanical systems that support MS Technologys mission of advancing safe and innovative technologies.Responsibilities:- Analysis experience (hydraulic piping pressure vessel design ventilation)
- Facility or utility design/maintenance experience
- Glovebox design experience
- Create and document engineering designs requirements specifications mechanical drawings process flow diagrams (PFDs) piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) engineering calculations etc.
- Develop standard operating procedures
- Develop maintenance plans for process equipment and support systems
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience in industrial utility or facility environments
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles pressure systems and applicable industry codes and standards (ASME API etc.)
- Proficiency in developing and interpreting technical drawings and documentation
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Inventor preferred
Preferred Background:- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
- Active or previous DOE Q Clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in nuclear or other highly regulated industrial environments
