Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Type: Day Shift (7:30 AM 4:00 PM MondayFriday)
Hours per Week: 42.5
Additional Notes: Possible evening and weekend on-call
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract. The technologist will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures assist in the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and ensure accurate imaging and patient safety. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern imaging equipment a strong technical background and excellent patient care skills.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of routine nuclear medicine imaging procedures under general supervision.
Prepare calibrate and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and radiation protection protocols.
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment and systems.
Process and analyze images using appropriate software and equipment.
Maintain accurate patient and procedural documentation within the EMR system.
Adhere to all hospital departmental and regulatory safety and quality control standards.
Participate in on-call rotations including occasional evenings and weekends.
Provide guidance or training to junior staff when required.
Qualifications
Education: Associates degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Licensure: Active New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License/Registration required.
Certification: ARRT (N) or CNMT certification (or board eligibility) required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the field.
Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification required.
Preferred Skills: Experience working in hospital or trauma center environments.

On-Call: Evening and weekend on-call rotation required.
Hours per Week: 42.5
Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension based on performance and client need.
