RETTEW is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer 1 to join our Facilities and Construction Team in Mechanicsburg PA. This role will lead the design and implementation of electrical and control systems for a variety of complex projects across industrial commercial and infrastructure sectors.

Work Environment

- Hybrid (3 days in the office 2 days remote)

- Location: Mechanicsburg PA

Position Summary / What Youll Do

As a Senior Electrical Engineer 1 you will serve as a technical leader in the design and delivery of electrical and control systems. You will play a key role in advancing RETTEWs strategic position in industrial automation data center construction and electrical grid modernization while mentoring engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities / Day-to-Day

- Lead electrical design efforts for power distribution lighting and control systems.

- Oversee the development of electrical drawings specifications and cost estimates.

- Coordinate with project managers clients and other engineering disciplines to ensure high-quality on-time project delivery.

- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews for electrical deliverables.

- Provide technical guidance mentorship and training to junior engineers and designers.

- Support business development through proposal preparation client engagement and strategic pursuits.

- Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to help shape RETTEWs market growth.

Qualifications

Required:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical system design

- Professional Engineer (PE) license

- Strong technical background in electrical design for facilities industrial or infrastructure projects

- Proven ability to lead design efforts and mentor junior staff

Preferred:

- Experience with industrial automation data centers or electrical grid modernization projects

- Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit or similar design software

- Familiarity with NEC NFPA and IEEE standards
