What youll be doing

Group Strategy is responsible for Carlsberg Global Strategy solving real-time business issues and providing insight and guidance to our top leadership team ExCom. We report to the Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer and we sit strategically within the CEO office. The new strategy Accelerate Sail - is about unlocking and fueling organic and inorganic growth expansion opportunities.

Our responsibilities:

The primary focus of Group Strategy is fourfold:

• Ensuring that Carlsberg stays on course for our new growth strategy Accelerate Sail as this will be fundamental for success and in reaching our targets.
• Delivering high impact projects related to Accelerate Sail enabling Carlsberg to grow and to further amplify its ambitions.
• Supporting our M&A team with the inorganic growth agenda here under strategy as well integration.
• Writing/re-writing our next corporate strategy to take us beyond Accelerate Sail

Your key accountabilities:

• Helping with following up on our Strategy (PMO) and deliver high impact ExCom sponsored projects accretive to our new growth strategy Accelerate Sail
• Providing thought leadership and guidance to ExCom as well the broader organization on a broad range of business-critical topics (incl M&A)
• Spearheading the annual strategy review process.

What were looking for

As a person you are ambitious and a vibrant team player with a strong track record in delivering results. You have natural drive and strive for excellence in everything you do with the bandwidth to take on several complex problems in parallel. You also have the aptitude to both appreciate and translate complex business issues into tangible workable solutions for the broader organization. It will be critical for you to have superb stakeholder management skills including the ability to read the room but also bring the broader organization along on the journey. You have high integrity act with respect and actively work with our core values and compass.

Furthermore we are looking for a candidate who:

• Has 2-4 years of strategy consulting background (or M&A advisory) and ideally combined with a stint in the FMCG industry.
• Works with Corporate Strategy PMO Go to Market Strategy Portfolio Strategy M&A Integration etc.
• Understands the full value chain key commercial metrics and has a solid financial acumen.
• Comfortably collaborates and communicates at all levels (ability to go high/low) and thrives operating cross-functionally and managing a complex matrix of stakeholders.
• Excels in strong leadership and is a team player who tackles issues with humble confidence.
• Communicates clearly drives things forward with a passion and understands when there is a need to be pragmatic to push ahead.
• Graduated from a leading university or has an MBA from a top-tier business school.
