Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring a Cyber Software Developer to support our Common Data Link Management System (CDLMS) Software Engineering Support (SES) Program contract at the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) facility in San Diego CA.
As a Software Developer you will be supporting one of several sprints within the C2P functions. This position will involve maintaining and implementing new capabilities test tool System Host. Develop scenarios for Host stimulus and also use a data reduction tool to analyze data between C2P and RSCP.
What youll do:
- Develop systems requirements and allocations
- Managing software specifications and analyze software systems codes and software modules to resolve issues with software functionality and/or performance
- Supporting the integration of and transition to new hardware and software systems for Tactical Data Links
Qualifications
What youll need:
- Education: 5 years with a BS/BA 3 years experience with a MS/MA or 9 years experience in lieu of a degree
- Clearance: active Secret Clearance
- Experience with engineering in Navy C4I systems
- Good understanding of RedHat Java C/C Perl JavaScript and Python
- Experience with J2EE and SOA based designs
- Experience gathering and analyzing data to determine system requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with software modeling tools (e.g. DODAF/UML/SysML): Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience with the design to containerize legacy capabilities and creation of new container capabilities: Docker is highly desirable.
