Construction Site Tech- Surveying Heavy Civil Construction

Location: South Hill VA (Travel Required)

Gregory Construction a Christian-principled award-winning contractor is looking for an Construction Site Tech to join our growing this role youll play a vital part in delivering accurate and efficient survey layouts for large-scale heavy civil and mission-critical projects across the region.

What Youll Do:

Perform high-accuracy layout as-built and topographic surveys.
Operate Trimble S7 Total Stations TSC7 Controllers and Topcon GPS equipment with Pocket 3D software.
Read and interpret construction drawings plans and project documentation.
Collaborate with field crews engineers and supervisors to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Travel regularly to various job sites as required.

Required Qualifications:

3 years of field surveying experience in construction environments.
Proficiency with Trimble S7 and Topcon GPS equipment.
Strong understanding of construction phases and site processes.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and point management.
Familiarity with GPS Machine Control systems (Komatsu/TOPCON).
OSHA 30 Certification and Autodesk Construction Cloud knowledge.
