Job Summary
Your tasks will include:
Planning installation administration operation and monitoring of relational database management systems (RDBMS)
Problem and error analysis of DBMS systems
Continuous optimization automation and performance analysis of DBMS environments
Development of standards and guidelines and contribution to the further development of the service portfolio
Setup configuration and troubleshooting of relational DBMS
Oracle system updates and migrations
PostgreSQL system updates and migrations
The administrator is responsible for the operation of systems.
Participation in the planning design implementation and operation of complex systems
Handling and execution of complex tasks
Installation and maintenance of tools
Contribution to the development and planning of service concepts
Support in ensuring the agreed service levels
Creation of system documentation
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or completed vocational training with equivalent professional experience
- At least three years of professional experience including at least one year in IT administration
- Operational experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL systems
- Administration experience in Linux Red Hat is required
- Strong customer-oriented thinking and behavior
- Professional trustworthy and empathetic demeanor
- Analytical systematic and structured working style
- High analytical and conceptual thinking ability
- High flexibility resilience and willingness to perform
- Good communication skills
- Broad and solid technical understanding
- Very good technical expertise in the targeted area and good knowledge of related technologies

- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Suitability for on-call duty
- Willingness to work on weekends
- Language skills: English (min. B2 level)
