Job Summary
All Care Therapies is currently seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Physical Therapist Aide to join our dynamic Outpatient clinic!
Patient Care:
- Assist in and perform patient transfers and lifts using proper body mechanics according to standard techniques.
- Assist the therapist in evaluations/treatments at the bedside and the rehabilitation gym (i.e. exercises mat activities orthosis fabrication modality preparation).
- Report treatment activities patient progress and any unusual response to treatment or incident to the therapist.
Office Responsibilities:
- Assist the therapist with delivery set-up and clean-up of the treatment area (i.e. patient room rehab gym splint set up) for patient care delivery
- Maintain a neat/tidy appearance in all areas of the department returning equipment/ supplies to designated areas
- Regularly sanitize exercise equipment mats and assistive devices according to hospital safety and infection control standards.
- Evaluate and distribute linen supplies changing linens on treatment tables according to procedures
- Maintain medical supplies in all treatment areas
- Sustain organization in the closets regularly
- Sweep soiled utility and equipment rooms at least twice weekly for therapy equipment
- Assist in department communication processes-answer telephones transit messages from nursing service to the therapist communicate between therapists etc.
We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function and level. Final offer/contract amounts are determined by multiple factors including skillset work experience and languages and may vary from the amounts listed below.
The pay range for this position is: $18 - $19/hr
Qualifications :
- *** Must be Fluent in Spanish***
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and telephone skills
- Good Computer skills with MS Office (MS Excel and Word)
- Experience as a Physical Therapy Aide in Outpatient settings is preferred but not required
- This position is full-time: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM **Please ensure you are available full-time before applying**
