We are seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pasadena United States. As a key member of our engineering department you will contribute to the design development and optimization of mechanical systems and products.
- Develop and implement mechanical designs for new products and systems
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis to ensure product performance and reliability
- Create and review technical drawings and specifications using CAD software
- Conduct simulations and tests to validate designs and improve product performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering challenges and meet project goals
- Participate in failure analysis activities and provide technical solutions
- Support the development of engineering proposals and presentations for clients
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng MEng) or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software and computational simulation tools (FEA CFD)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient in MS Office suite and MS Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
- Innovative thinker with a passion for engineering excellence
- Ongoing application or interest in professional membership/chartership (e.g. MIMechE CEng) is a plus
