Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Controls Engineer to join our Innovation Team. This role is responsible for designing developing and implementing control systems for industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming HMI development and electrical design with a passion for solving complex automation challenges for manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design & Development
    • Design and develop control systems using PLCs HMIs SCADA and industrial networks.
    • Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using CAD software.
    • Specify and select control hardware components (sensors actuators drives etc.).
  • Programming & Integration
    • Program PLCs and configure HMIs.
    • Integrate control systems with mechanical and electrical components.
    • Develop and test automation sequences and safety interlocks.
  • Project Execution
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines.
    • Support installation commissioning and troubleshooting of control systems on-site.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Documentation & Support
    • Prepare detailed documentation including wiring diagrams control logic and user manuals.
    • Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers.
    • Maintain and update system documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Automation or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in industrial controls and automation.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Allen-Bradley Automation Direct Productivity Series Siemens Mitsubishi).
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA systems (e.g. C-more FactoryTalk WinCC Ignition).
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP Modbus Profibus).
  • Familiarity with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical EPLAN).
  • Knowledge of safety standards (NFPA 70E UL508A ISO 13849).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with robotics and motion control systems.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and IIoT integration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel for site installations and support (1030%).
