Engine Calibration Engineer

• Development and industrialization of Powertrain Control Software & Calibration for both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Hybrid (HYB) vehicles ensuring compliance with clients standards and alignment with project milestones cost quality and delivery objectives.

• Execute calibration and tuning activities including validation through test reports (FE) synthesis reports and dataset maturity reviews.

• Analyze and document proposed and reserved technical solutions ensuring alignment with project line-ups technical specifications regulatory constraints and performance objectives across different specifications.

• Guarantee customer-oriented performance targets by executing software tuning to meet requirements for reliability durability emissions OBD compliance fuel efficiency and drivability under various climatic and operational conditions.

Qualifications :

Experience & Domain Expertise

• Proven experience of at least 2 years in calibration engineering
• University degree in a field related to automotive engineering

Technical Proficiency

• Calibration Tools: Expertise in INCA Matlab and CRETA.
• Programming: Proficiency in relevant programming languages for calibration and modeling.
• Electrical & Electronics Knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical/electronic systems related to powertrain (engine) components.

Regulatory and Methodological Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of calibration methodologies validation processes and industry standards for emissions compliance.
• Knowledge of GMP related to calibration and system validation.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for testing and calibration validation.
• Effective communication skills to report progress and interact with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate and interpret technical documents in English.
