Were looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails - Fullstack Senior Developer who can take ownership of features and help deliver innovative solutions for our customers. Youll collaborate with a talented team contribute to high-impact projects and leverage modern tools to build scalable and maintainable applications.
Skills Description:
Experience:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in building web application backends preferably usingRuby on Rails.
- Expertise in consuming and buildingREST APIs.
- Proficiency in usingORM frameworks preferablyActiveRecord.
Database Proficiency:
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases likeMySQLPostgreSQL orDynamoDB.
Frontend Expertise:
- Proficient in frontend technologies such asJavaScript.
DevOps and CI/CD:
- Experience working in aContinuous Delivery (CI/CD)environment.
- Familiarity withAWS application serviceslike Lambda Kinesis and SQS.
- Architecture and Practices:
- Knowledge ofmicroservices architecture.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- A strong understanding of testing methodologies including unit testing and integration testing.
Soft Skills:
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and solve complex problems with scalable solutions.
- A team player who can work effectively with developers QA engineers and support teams.
Responsibilities:
Feature Ownership:
- Design develop test and deliver new features from inception to production.
- Provide ongoing support and improvements for implemented features.
Backend Development:
- Build and maintain robust backends usingRuby on Rails.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
Frontend Development:
- Collaborate on creating intuitive responsive interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
Code Quality:
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
- Contribute to improving coding conventions and team productivity.
Collaboration:
- Work with product managers and cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
- Assist in roadmap creation and capacity planning.
Mentorship:
- Provide technical mentorship to less experienced developers.
- Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing team culture.
We work 3 days per week at Kaseya Krakow office.
