Job Summary
The Challenge
Oranjemund Private School has a vacancy for an energetic self-motivated and pro-active Teachers Assistant in the Junior Primary Section (Grades 0 3). The position aims at affording teaching graduates an opportunity to gain experience whilst aiding in the teaching of primary school learners whilst under the supervision of a qualified and experienced teacher.
Qualifications :
Ideal Applicant
- Applicants must be in possession of at least a two year qualification specializing in child care or remedial assistance programmes aimed at Junior Primary Level.
- Preference will be given to teachers with at least two years experience with this age group.
- A working knowledge of some remedial programmes would an additional advantage.
- Proficiency and fluency in English and any other Namibia language is essential.
- Candidates will be expected to become fully involved in the extra-curricular programmes of the school.
- Candidates must be computer literate (Word & Excel).
