Job Summary

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the software build process across teams.
Lead and coordinate open source projects aligned with BMWs strategic goals.
Ensure compliance with open source licenses and address legal/security concerns.
Communicate project status risks and issues to senior management.
Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Tasks

Integrate new features and updates into the CI/CD pipeline.
Troubleshoot and resolve build issues.
Engage with the open source community for collaboration and contributions.
Facilitate meetings code reviews and project planning sessions.
Maintain documentation of build processes and project plans.
Generate reports on build performance and project progress.

Competencies

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD).
Experience in managing or contributing to open source projects.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and version control best practices.
