We are seeking a motivated Industrial/Aerospace Engineering Intern to join our team. The intern will support process improvement initiatives data analysis and efficiency optimization projects under the guidance of experienced engineers. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in a real-world operations or manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do:
- Assist in analyzing workflows production methods and process layouts to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support time and motion studies to collect data and recommend improvements.
- Create or update process documentation standard work instructions and visual aids.
- Collect and analyze operational data using Excel SQL or other tools.
- Assist in capacity planning production scheduling and resource optimization.
- Present findings and recommendations to team leaders and stakeholders.
What You Will Learn:
- Learn and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S Kaizen events or Six Sigma projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production quality logistics etc.) to support ongoing improvement efforts.
- Learn and develop top findings and make recommendations to team leaders and stakeholders.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: We Prefer:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (Junior or Senior level preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab Power BI SQL) is a plus.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
