Job Summary

As part of the PSA Singapore Procurement team you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of engineering related components and services.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with user departments to define tender strategies that meet PSAs requirements for cost effectiveness and quality.
Prepare robust tender documents with clear and detailed specifications
Draft and finalize contracts that clearly articulate deliverables contractors responsibilities and liabilities and safeguard PSAs interests
Conduct comprehensive evaluation of proposals and lead negotiations to secure commercially and contractually sound agreements.
Complete tenders on time and perform post-contract management with internal stakeholders ensuring suppliers meet their contractual obligations
Identify and manage risks that may arise during the contract tenure
Cultivate effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive procurement excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.
Contribute to the enhancement of procurement processes to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement
Proficient understanding of strategic sourcing tendering process contract management contract negotiation and contract governance
Strong analytical skills and able to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills effective influencing skills and skilled in contract negotiations
Able to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders so as to meet PSAs business needs
Resourceful driven and able to drive innovation champion change and work collaboratively to achieve results
Familiarity with e-procurement tools (e.g. SAP Ariba Coupa Oracle Zycus) is an advantage
CIPS or CPSM certification or progress towards it will be viewed favourably
