DescriptionDivision: Group Business Solutions (GBS)
Within GBS you will join the Solutions Architecture team in the Software Engineering Tribe. Here you will play a crucial role in defining the target architecture and designing end-to-end solutions for initiatives across various GBS domains with a focus on our EB Cash and Banking domain and actively participate in the evolution of the Solution Architecture Practice.
Your role
- Support and where appropriate lead the definition and implementation of architecture solutions for transversal programs ensuring alignment with business technical and security requirements under the guidance of senior architects.
- Work with requirement owners domain architects and IT engineers to build high-quality solutions.
- Bridge the gap between Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and domain target architectures.
- Contribute to the creation of reusable solution patterns and building blocks and actively participate in the evolution of Solution Architecture and Software Engineering practices.
- Apply hands-on technology and delivery experience to contribute to the definition of business capability (Domain) target architectures and roadmaps focused on the EB Cash & Banking domain.
- Engage in communities of practice with other architects to share standard methodologies and lessons learned.
Your profile
- Extensive experience in the IT industry ideally as a Solution Architect Business Architect or Lead Developer on large-scale cross-domain transformation programs.
- Strong domain expertise in Payments (domestic and cross-border) and Treasury Management including related regulatory environments.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD; familiarity with scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Event-driven and service-based architectures microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Mainframe technologies with some experience in Java on Mainframe.
- Integration and data technologies and front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like Angular.
- Proven ability to manage complex systems and challenges across functions locations and organizations.
- Skilled in architectural analysis and capable of providing pragmatic recommendations mentoring others and escalating when appropriate.
- Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems and deliver actionable solutions.
- Pragmatic and results-oriented approach focused on delivering fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills to advocate architectural decisions to project teams and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Deep domain knowledge in domestic and cross-border Payments and Treasury Management.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as Open Agile Architecture or TOGAF.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry with a solid understanding of Payments or Treasury processes; knowledge of related regulatory environments is desirable.
- Proficiency in English is required.
