R&D Program ManagerJob Description
Leads Project planning and execution from initial concept phase to release and post-release follow-up.
Collaborate closely with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders to secure agreement on program goals manage program scope schedule budget quality resources and risks and negotiate effective solutions to achieve organizational objectives.
Ensure the product meets the quality and cost targets assurance of supply and service needs.
Establish strong operating mechanisms to track progress identify and manage risks overcome obstacles and define recovery plans.
Facilitate interaction managing inter-dependencies and conflict resolution among all functional teams across sites.
Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies/rules/procedures.
Drive cost consciousness in planning and managing project budget as well as cost down opportunities on the Ultrasound products.
Stakeholder management and effective tracking and reporting to management and project teams.
Identify and implement process improvements to ensure high quality and to drive efficiency and productivity.
Minimum required Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent in Engineering.
Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience in Technical Project Management preferably in end-to-end medical device product development.
MBA and experience in a regulated medical device development and manufacturing environment is a plus.
The individual must demonstrate high levels of initiative leadership good judgement effective communication skills and strong analytical skills.
Must have worked in a Global Matrix organization managing complex projects through teams and stakeholders across various geographic locations.
Successful track record of project management for R&D or Supply Chain.
Good influencing skills conflict resolution assertiveness negotiation in collaboration with management.
Demonstrated leadership skills excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to build relationships and effective organizational and networking skills.
Excellent time management and scheduling.
Preferred Certification:
PMP Certification is a plus

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
