Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled KDB Developer to support our data infrastructure wherekdb database system is a cornerstone of our data infrastructure enabling us to process and analyze vast amounts of market data with extremely low latency.

Specific skills required:

• kdb Expertise: Provide deep expertise in kdb development support and administration. Experienced resources in Singapore and NY.
• Deep understanding of KDB features such as
  • Understanding Q language syntax data structures datatypes
  • Proficiency in array-oriented programming
  • Knowledge on q-SQL and KDB specific joins. (asof/window)
  • Understanding of kdb database concepts including knowledge of how data is stored managed and queried within the kdb database.
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques in KDB
  • Proficiency in interprocess communication.
  • Standard kdb architecture tickerplant rdb hdb gateway chained processe.
• Experience in managing large KDB system with petabyte scale of data and more than 500 users.
• Real-Time Data Feeds: Experience with integrating kdb with real-time messaging systems (Solace/ION/Kafka). Real-Time Data: Deep understanding of real-time market data feeds and data processing techniques.
• Financial Markets: Strong knowledge of financial markets including Fixed Income FX and Equities.
• DevOps: Implement DevOps practices to automate the build test and deployment of kdb solutions.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with using monitoring tools to track the performance and health of kdb systems like ITRS
