DescriptionMake a Difference Support People to Achieve Their Employment Goals
At Mai-Wel we believe in building brighter futures by empowering people to enter engage in and maintain employment. We are seeking passionate and motivated Casual & PPT Job Coaches to join our NDIS Employment Pathways team supporting participants to develop skills gain confidence and reach their goals.
About the Role
As a Job Coach you will:
Plan deliver and assess skill development training aligned with participant goals
Provide mentoring coaching and workplace support to help participants succeed
Facilitate work experience opportunities and problem-solve workplace challenges
Build strong relationships with participants their support networks and employers
Support participants with personal care communication transport and daily needs in line with their individual plans
Promote inclusion respect and a culturally safe environment for all
This role involves travel between sites flexible hours and using your own vehicle.
Skills And ExperiencesTo be successful you will have:
Experience in the human services sector ideally within NDIS or employment support
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to coach mentor and motivate others
Flexibility to work across different locations and shifts
A Certificate III in Individual Support Disability Community Services Mental Health Youth or a related qualification (minimum requirement)
Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID009 HLTAID010 HLTAID011) and Drivers Licence
