Shift: PRN days evenings weekend primary Pediatrics
We are seeking a dedicated licensed Pharmacist to join our healthcare this vital role you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical careincluding both clinical and distributive servicesto patients served within our health system. Responsibilities
- Prioritizes collaboration and open communication between health care professionals and operates in a professional and courteous manner

- Encourages and provides constructive feedback to identify opportunities for improvement within the department
- Ensures the appropriate preparation and dispersal of medications in accordance with facility state and national laws and regulations
- Assures compliance with HIPAA DNV OSHA and other state and federal regulations guiding healthcare
- Adheres to policies and procedures of UPH-DM
- Prioritizes the importance of preventing errors accidents and infections within the workplace and reports potential or actual concerns immediately
Qualifications
Education:
B.S. Pharmacy with equivalent clinical experience. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) preferred Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency desirable
Experience:
Proficiency in navigating the electronic medical record. One or more years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
License(s)/Certification(s):Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
License:
Iowa Pharmacist license in good standing or eligible for licensure. Must attain a license to practice Pharmacy in Iowa within six months of employment. Must be directly supervised by a licensed pharmacist until Iowa Pharmacist license is obtained. Must maintain current license to practice pharmacy in Iowa and be in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners
