Job Summary
Where Youll Work
The Woodlands Hospital a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services diagnostic imaging womens services (digital mammography and bone density studies) neurosciences pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery pathology and pulmonary services and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centers Radiation Treatment Center and Texas Childrens Hospital.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Social Worker at CHI you will provide direct social work services including assessment treatment planning intervention counseling and recommendations to individual patients (adolescents adults elder) and their families/significant others and/or groups of patients. Is knowledgeable in areas such as active listening social perceptiveness critical thinking and coordination. The social worker has the ability to carry the role of advisor therapist administrator and clinician.
Job Requirements
*Masters Degree from a Council on Social Work Education accredited graduate school of social work
*TX LMSW or eligible for LCSW
*Three (3) years clinical social work or allied health practice
with hospital or medical background or experience
