Job Overview
Marvin a premier manufacturer of windows and doors is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in maintenance and repair tasks within a dynamic and supportive setting. This individual will be required to have direct supervision.
This internship will begin on May 26 2026 and end on August 14 2026.
Highlights of your role
- Work efficiently with work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PM maintenance throughout the plant.
- Perform regular inspections andassistwith repairs on any equipment in the facility.
- Assistin theset upof new equipment;troubleshootequipment using basic tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulicselectronicsand controls
- Mustpossessknowledgeinmanufacturing processes mechanicalmachinesand mathematical concepts.
- Must be able to work with power tools and computer equipment
- Must have quick and decisive problem-solving techniques.
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Currentlyenrolled in a technical or vocational program related to maintenance or a related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
