The Vulcraft/Verco Group (VVG) seeks qualified and energetic applicants for the position of Senior Quality Assurance Analyst with a focus on our sales software applications.

We lead in manufacturing steel joists joist girders deck and grating products for the non-residential construction industry and deliver innovative engineering solutions.
Basic Job Functions:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst you will champion quality across our software portfolio help to lead a talented QA and Support team and drive continuous improvement in testing and support strategies.
Youll collaborate with developers product owners and stakeholders to ensure clarity on requirements and deliver robust reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the testing and support process to ensure we meet quality standards and best practices.
- Work with developers product owners and other stakeholders to ensure clarity on testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Lead and mentor the QA and Support team fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
- Help to develop and implement continuous improvements test and support strategies and plans.
- Monitor testing progress provide regular updates and drive root cause analysis for production issues.
- Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Balance tactical day-to-day responsibilities with strategic goals to enhance efficiency and value.
- Uphold and advance safety policies practices and housekeeping standards.
The successful teammate may be based in any of the listed Nucor Vulcraft locations with the agreement of that division.A willingness to travel periodically and domestically is required to satisfy team project or training demands.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in software testing
- Two or more years in a senior or lead role.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle advanced testing and automation methods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with testing both desktop and Azure cloud-based applications
- Experience with test management tools such as DevOps or Jira
- Experience with SQL and at least one programming language (C# JavaScript Python etc.)
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and API testing (Postman)
