Job Summary and Responsibilities
Join our team of professional and passionate health care professionals who are committed to the well-being of our patients and provide patient care based on competence professional expertise knowledge and evidence based practice.
Assesses patient/family health problems and resources takes a leadership role in the development implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations. This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including an ill neonate through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires night call and weekend call. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organizations strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing.
- Current California RN License.
- Current ACLS BLS and PALS required thourgh the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills computer literacy preferred.
- Recent ICU and PACU experience required within the last 2 years
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor degree in health related field preferred.
- One year recent acute care experience preferred.
- Computer literacy preferred.
