Job Summary

Job Summary (List Format):

- Education: Bachelors degree (BA/BS) required
- Certification: Must have active CCNP certification
- Experience: 5-8 years of relevant domain experience
- Network Technologies:
- Strong hands-on experience with SDWAN (Silver Peak preferred)
- Proficient in configuring/troubleshooting Next Gen Firewalls (Cisco Firepower preferred)
- Troubleshooting routing loops and asymmetric routing issues
- Expertise in Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) loop troubleshooting
- Operational Responsibilities:
- Implement operational changes and coordinate with project teams
- Analyze outputs from network tools and make recommendations (e.g. high CPU on core devices)
- Device & Protocol Configuration/Troubleshooting:
- Cisco ASA IPS and ISE
- Cisco Wireless Controllers (WLC preferred)
- Routing protocols: EIGRP OSPF BGP
- LAN switching: VLAN VTP STP EtherChannel
- Quality of Service (QoS)
- TCP/IP protocol suite
- Application protocols: HTTP HTTPS FTP SMTP SNMP SSL etc.
- Network security: IPSec/SSL VPN Cisco AnyConnect AAA architecture TACACS RADIUS 802.1x
- Cisco Catalyst and Nexus (9K/7K) switches
- Cisco IOS NX-OS software
- Application load balancers
- Cloud & Data Center:
- Firewall cloud services (Zscaler preferred)
- Data Center Nexus environment (ACI preferred)
- Experience with AWS GCP Azure Cloud is a plus
- Other Tools/Applications:
- Citrix NetScaler load balancer
- Cisco FTD (Firepower Threat Defense)
- Aruba SD-WAN
- Azure Cloud
- Experience supporting applications like SAP Citrix Portal
- Soft Skills:
- Strong team player
- Excellent end-user interaction and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Work Location: Hybrid must be able to work onsite in Dallas TX; Garden City NY; Houston TX; Lubbock TX; Morristown NJ; New York NY; or Purchase NY
